Weekend...

I am on day 4 of the straight hair.  I don't miss the coils.  I feel like I have betrayed my natural hair sisters.  I need to figure out what I am going to do.  Am I going to continue to use heat?  I guess I will evaluate once I wash it.

 

This was a regular weekend.  I didn't do anything big.

 

I browsed at the mall...#nomoney  I did buy a lipstick from the MAC counter  - Fetish.

 

I got a manicure and pedicure. #straightupclaws It has been a few weeks.  OK.  It was over a month.  I was like, "Um.  Don't say nothing about my feet.  We are just going to go on business as usual."  LOL  Of course, she said something. 

 

I learned that it is best to leave a cash tip.  I watched an exchange between the owner and the manicurist that had my brow raised.  The owner said, "I'll text you and you can come back."  The manicurist left.  The owner brushed her hair, put on lipstick, gathered her isht and rolled out.  I lost respect for her.  My tips are not a 15% service charge for the spa!  I will make sure that I have cash from now on.

 

I washed clothes #finally.

 

I read a book - The Coldest Winter Ever.  LOL  I know...I am about 10 years late.  Yeah.  I am not chomping at the bit to read the sequels.  I can see the message, but something about it just wasn't 100%.  In fact, some sections seemed a little self-serving.  Why was Sistah Souljah a character?  Also, the Kindle version had all sorts of typos and such #getaneditor.  My mother is reading it too.  We share the same thoughts.  The sections that I groaned.  She groaned.  LOL
